Kate Atkin is a graduate in Photography from University College Falmouth and is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. She is an accredited National Press Card holder (NUJ). Based in the Midlands, commissions may be undertaken nationwide.

Previous commissions have ranged from dance and performance photography, to public relations, advertising and documentary projects.

"The principal focus of my work is in Dance and Event photography, exploring ways of capturing the emotion of a moment and the essence of a performance. I look for ways of providing 'added value' by the use of alternative processes and multi-processing to enhance the mood and to create a unique record. These skills and interest can be used to provide an added dimension to any project".
